Hands on Gardening Learning Holidays
We offer complete packages with accommodation, lunch and hands on learning
with personal tuition. Hands on learning holidays are designed to be
fun as well as educational.
We are happy for you to spend all day on the site, or visit other places
of interest. East Kent is surrounded by wonderful countryside, and many places
of historical interest. There is an abundance of things to do and
places to visit as well as a wide choice of traditional pubs and eating places.
Stays will typically be two nights in Bed and Breakfast accommodation or
4 or 5 nights in either B&B or self catering. Costs are all inclusive,
covering accommodation, tuition, lunch and even taking home some goodies. Included
in a 5 night stay is free, optional one night B&B return visit later
in the season to re-visit your planting and harvest the results.
Small groups of four to six people will be catered for so that hands on
tuition is one to one. If you want to come as a single person and meet others,

Lunch is part of the package, made up as far as possible from our own Green & Local
produce. Weather permitting its will be taken outdoors. A glass of local
wine from the nearby Barnsole vineyard will be an option to fruit juice.
We will make sure you do not leave empty handed – you can take away
a ‘goody bag’ containing some plants, seeds, cuttings as well
as a few freshly cut flowers and veggies.
Costs are £40 to £80 per person per day depending on numbers
and choice of accommodation. Please email
