Help Design and Build the Garden
New for 2010 – help us design and plant the secret garden. Be
part of creating a special corner of England that you will want to return
to over the years as it grows.
We have a corner of land away from the public bridlepath with trees already
there on two sides. We are planting new trees, shrubs and roses on the other
two sides so that it will eventually be screened from view and secret to
all but those in the know.
Guests can adopt a corner, or plant some specimen tree, shrub, plant or
bulbs. As the garden matures you can pop back and admire it or picnic
in its seclusion. The design for the garden is not fixed; it will evolve
as people bring their own ideas and imagination with them.
Gardening is a long term plan. Why not put June 2020 in your diary
now to come back and enjoy a tenth anniversary picnic party in the secret
garden!
